Hair beauty tips

1) One of the first beauty tips for the hair is to ensure that you purchase the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair type. If you wash and condition your hair on a regular basis, you will find that the beauty of the hair is maintained. It is important to make sure that you purchase products that meet the needs of your hair. If you color your hair, it is important to purchase products that are created to wash and condition color treated hair and so on.

2) The second beauty tip for the hair is to ensure that you condition your hair as much as possible. In addition to this, you may want to place a small amount of conditioner in the hair once you initially condition it and allow it to stay in the hair. This will add softness and glow to your hair.

3) The third beauty tip for the hair is to not brush or comb the hair when it is wet. If you do this, you will notice that the hair will become frizzy and unmanageable. When the hair has dried some, it is safe to brush and/or comb it. Many people use a dryer in order to remove some of the dampness prior to brushing and/or combing the hair.

4) The fourth beauty tip for the hair is to try to avoid using products that can damage the hair. Many hairsprays and other hair styling products can be extremely harsh on the hair. There are many products that can actually be extremely beneficial for the hair. These products include conditioners that a person can leave in the hair as well as hair styling sprays that can provide volume and shine to the hair.

Using eye cream tips

  1. Fine lines and wrinkles can appear as early as your 20s, so to protect skin, use an eye cream with antioxidants during the day.  At night, use an anti aging skin cream with ingredients such as retinol or peptides.
  2. Look for an eye cream in an aluminum tube or an opaque pump bottle – especially for creams that contain retinol or vitamin C.  These packages protect these ingredients from exposure to oxygen and sunlight .  Generally, eye creams that come in jars tend to be richer than those in bottles or tubes.
  3. Place a pea-size dab of eye cream on your ring finger, which has the lightest touch and is least likely to pull the skin.  Starting at the inner corner, dab the cream from just below your lashes to your orbital bone.  Continue outward until you reach your crow’s feet.
  4. Resist the temptation to gob on your eye cream at night.  Too much can lead to itchy, puffy eyes the following morning.

Finding sensory inspiration tips

Inspiration is everywhere, from sights you see on your way to work to smells and objects around your home. Explore a variety of sensations so that no matter where you are you’ll always have something you can do to relax yourself. Here a few ideas to get you started.

  • Memories. Think back to what you did as a child to calm down. If you had a blanket or stuffed toy, you might benefit from tactile stimulation. Try tying a textured scarf around your neck before an appointment or keeping a piece of soft suede in your pocket.
  • Watch others. Observing how others deal with stress can give you valuable insight. Baseball players often pop gum in their mouth before going up to bat. Singers often chat up the crowd before performing. Ask around about what people you know do to stay focused under pressure—it could work for you too.
  • Parents. Think back to what your parents did to blow off steam. Did your mother feel more relaxed after a long walk? Did your father do yard work after a hard day? Try some of the things they did to unwind; they might work for you too.
