The development of sense of identity

Sometimes during adolescence every young boy or girl needs to devellop a sense of identity ;  that is a definition of oneself as a person.  The adolescent is in search of an answer he arrives at will question “Who am I” and the kind of answer he arrives at will affect all areas of his adjustment. The ease with which an adolescent boy or girl is able to achieve a clear sense of identity will depend upon many factors. These include his previous experience, his aptitudes and skills and the kind of social experience he has had. The most important factor is a rewarding, warm relationship with his parents.
