  • Ginger - All of you are aware about its effective uses. Ginger can be used in the treatment of cold and cough. You can take it in the form of tea and in hot water. The sap of ginger with honey is also helpful in treating sore throat.
  • Bayberry - Decoction of bayberry can be used as gargle to control throat infections.
  • Licorice- If you have difficulty of sore throat then sucks a piece of raw licorice and allows the juices to pass through your throat.
  • Belleric Myrobalan - The pulp of this fruit is mixed with salt, honey, long pepper and has been taken for allaying the difficulty of sore throat.
  • Butea - A Decoction of butea leaves in water can be taken for gargle that will be effective in throat infection.
  • Cardamom - Mixture of cardamom with cinnamon is used as gargle for the treatment of sore throat. It is helpful if the problem caused due to the serious condition of influenza.
  • Fenugreek - Put some seeds of Fenugreek in water to simmer on low flame for half an hour. When it is cooled down strained them and used as a gargle for the cure of sore throat.
