Some persons continue to look tired despite sleeping for the requisite number of hours every day. Their tired look can be attributed to their eye problems. Fortunately for such persons, a number of cures are available today. You can opt for an eye surgery or wear glasses or opt for ordinary or soft contact lenses. Much of their emotional balance he laid to the fact that the baby is carried on its mother’s back during its early years, and is subjected to no startling conditions without its mother being at hand to check its fears and give it a sensation of complete security in addition to the physical condition of security from being in actual physical contact with the mother’s body. Teach your child the value of good sight, how he should use his eyes on all occasions, make him eye-conscious, so he will detect anything abnormal at the start.

The parent should always be the source of good pediatric eye care. Your child should then have healthy eyes right through life. Many people think that they cannot have beautiful eyes with contacts and glasses. Nothing could be further from the truth. Think of contact lenses and glasses as eye accessories, not something to prohibit eye beauty. Choosing the right frame for your glasses is the key to accentuating your eyes. While you will want to choose a frame that can be worn with everything, the best way to find the right one is to make sure it fits your face and highlights your eyes. With contacts, you can enjoy an array of possibilities.

A common ailment in dry dusty climate it causes limitation of work due to continuous painful irritation and rapid spread to others. It occurs mostly in children and young adults. Predominantly infective in origin caused by viruses, bacteria and fungi, it may also be due to chemicals, irritation and allergy. The patient experiences considerable pain, grittiness, photophobia (difficulty in vision in even normally lit surroundings), pus or watery discharge and redness of eyes. On examination the conjunctiva looks congested with flakes of pus. The discharge is watery in viral and pus filled in bacterial conjunctivitis. Any discharge and inflammation of eyes in infants less than a month is called ophthalmia neonatorum. Conjunctivitis is an acute disease diminishing in severity rapidly, becoming a chronic less symptomatic condition or resolving completely. Frequent rubbing of eyes with unclean hands predisposes the infection. Transmission occurs by direct contact, through mechanical vectors and fomites (inanimate objects). It is complicated by spread to cornea, eyelids and iris. Ulcers which heal by opacification will hinder vision. Treatment is by topical application of antibiotic and moisturizing eye drops. Dark goggles can be used to protect eyes and prevent spread. Oral antibiotics are given to treat systemic source of infection.

Do you eyes feel tired and sore by the end of the day? Modern life puts a lot of stress on our bodies and eyes are among the first things to suffer. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Learn simple things you can do for your eye health and your eyes will feel and look much better in only a few days. It is proven that UV rays can seriously damage your eyes, but good sunglasses can prevent this damage. When buying sunglasses, make sure that they block at least 98% of UV radiation. It is a common knowledge that working with poor light can cause eyestrain, but light that is too bright can do as much damage. The great invention of the 20th century computers is not so great from the point of view of health. Almost everybody feels discomfort in their eyes after peering at a computer screen all day long. This is because people blink about 25% less often then usual, while working at the computer, which causes eye dryness. I won’t advise you to blink more often it is almost impossible to control natural reflexes. One thing you can do, is close your eyes and count to 5 before opening them. Another thing is to look away from the screen and focus on some faraway object, as often as possible. If you train yourself into the habit, your eyes should feel much better at the end of your working day.

• Eye contact: Don’t rub or touch your eyes too often. When our eyes itch we automatically want to rub them. Doing this can cause redness and produce a rash around the eye lids. It’s better to get a wet washcloth and gently wash the eyes. Doing this every morning upon waking will clean any gunk that’s accumulated on the eyes overnight.

• Wear safety glasses: Safety glasses are a must when working around flying objects or with substances that cause dust and debris to float up into the air. Don’t complain when your company requires safety glasses when performing your job, they are doing it for you own good.

• Sunglasses: Wearing sunglasses will protect your eyes from the sun’s dangerous rays. Ultraviolet rays are harmful to the eye just as much as the skin.

• Contact Lenses: Always clean contact lenses thoroughly between each use. Clean the container that you keep the lenses in often also. It’s even a good idea to change it out every few months. Do not put contact lenses in without cleaning your hands first. Use eye wash and refreshers to keep the contact lenses moist. Dirty or dried out contact lenses can damage the eye. Getting dry contacts out of the eyes can cause cuts and scratches that are very painful, often requiring professional care. Dirty lenses can cause eye infections. Practice healthy contact lenses use.

• Allergies: Take allergy medications, stay inside during high pollen or other high pollution days, and go to the eye doctor if allergies get too bad. If the itching, burning, and redness won’t go away with over the counter treatment, go to the eye doctor.

• Eye doctor: Go to your eye doctor for yearly checkups. Getting the health of your eye checked once a year plays a very important role in eye health.

Bates, who is an eye-care physician in 1860-1931, attributed almost all the vision problem to long-period of the eyes. He thought glasses are unnecessary or even harmful to the eyes, so a series of eye exercise are invented to enhance vision which have proved to be effective right now. People with blurred vision, eyestrain, lazy eye, or double vision all enjoy the improvement of eyesight after a long time eye exercise.

The saying that” the ways in which people strain to see are infinite, and the methods used to relieve the strain must be equally varied” obviously indicates that no simple one approach will work for everyone. So a number of eye exercise treatments are introduced in the following.

The first is the palming treatment. You are suggested to close your eyes for minutes to have a relaxation. Then cover your eyes with palm and massage the eyeball gently to deepen the relaxation. You can feel differently depending on the strain of eyes.

The second is the visualization treatment. You are suggested to think the top letter of an eye chart then visualize the smaller ones on the bottom, at last the smallest comma. It is better to image something black to strengthen the benefits.

The third is the movement treatment. You are suggested to move your eyes back and forth or to transfer from the actual to mental world to get an illusion of the “swinging” and “shifting” objects. This method may seem a little difficult, so someone simplifies the process by just moving the eyes up to down, left to right and far to near repeatedly.

The next is the sunning treatment. You are suggested to expose your eyes in sunshine gradually by special training to relieve the strain on eyes. It sounds ridiculous right now, because we know eyes exposure to sunlight can damage your eyes completely, and that is why we invent the sunglasses. So please do not try this method.

The theories of Bates on eye exercise are generally anecdotal and they are not testified to be exactly right by medical research. But it is a historic event and he is great, because he helps us to realize the importance of eye exercise and inspire more people to join in the eye protection research to find out the most beneficial eye exercise. Actually, after Bates, there is a standard eye exercise carried out to help to improve the eyesight. Furthermore, there are various ways to enhance vision, including balanced diet, adequate sleep and eye exercise.

According to makeup experts, including Bobbi Brown in her book, “Beauty,” almost every woman needs to fill in her brows as part of her normal beauty routine. Bobbi’s claims are backed up by the editors of Allure’s “Confessions of a Beauty Editor,” who state that makeup artist Dick Page once informed them he’d never seen a model who didn’t need her brows filled in.

If, like most women, you were born with sparse brows or simply went too far with the tweezers, there is a fix to filling in your eyebrows. All it takes is a pencil, powder and an angled brush or a clean mascara brush. Pencils and powders tend to stick to skin, not to hair, so if you don’t have a lot of hair you’ll want to shade in the skin where hair should grow.

Eye training: Exercise your eyes and see better – perhaps you also will be able to get rid of your glasses and loose some headache in the deal

It’s not unusual that visual defects and headache is the result of people using their eyes in the wrong way and that they never exercise their eyes. To sit for hours and stare into a book or a computer screen at the same distance and from the same angle is for the muscles of the eye the same thing as it is for the legs to sit still on an aeroplane or a train for several hours – the problem is that people in today’s society have gotten used to this eye torment and take hardly no notice of it. This has gone so far that for some the muscles of the eye are so stiff that they rather turn the whole head than just the eyes when seeing something in the periphery.
The eyes needs training, and if you utilize the following simple exercises it might even happen that you can discard your reading glasses after a while.

Do like this:

The first part of the eye exercise is good for the muscles surrounding the eyeball. Look at something on the right in your field of vision. Keep your eyes on that object and turn your head to the left as far as possible without loosing sight of whatever you’ve choose to look at. Do the same thing but in reverse; fix your stare at something on the left and turn your head rightwards as far as you can. Repeat the procedure in all directions; up and down and in the four diagonal directions. Repeat the entire exercise a few times.
The first times you perform this exercise you will probably experience some pain and perhaps even headache and nausea – but those symptoms will disappear in time and are signs that you really are in need of this exercise. But be careful.
It might be a good idea not to perform this exercise on the bus or in similar circumstances – people might believe that you are having a seizure of some kind.

The second part of the eye training prevents the lens of the eye from getting stiff and exercises the small muscles inside the eye which shape the lens and thus help you focus on things you look at. Hold up your finger in front of you and focus on it. Move the finger towards you as close as you can get without loosing focus. Then look outside the window and focus on the horizon. Repeat a few times.

Many visual defects such as myopia – short-sightedness – and hyperopia – long-sightedness are a result of that the eyeball is not perfectly spherical. Many times myopia is the result of the growth of the brain which has “flattened” the eyeball from behind. The exercises described above might if practised regularly help shape the eyeball into a more spherical shape and thus also improve your sight.

Eyebrow hair regrowth is considerably fast and for those women, who have thick, bushy eyebrows; this can present a real problem. The actually time taken by the eyebrows to fully regrow depends a lot on the method of removing them. Usually, if plucked, eyebrow regrowth takes about two months. However, if you have used other methods like waxing to remove your eyebrows, the eyebrow hair growth takes less than two months and the regrowth becomes noticeable in about two to three weeks.

While using these methods to remove the hair right from the follicle has proved to be beneficial for many women, overdoing it can cause eyebrow loss, which is a problem many women are unfortunate enough to suffer from.

Eye Exercise: In it, we simply move eyes, while sitting in the Sukh Asana or the Padam Asana (the Lotus Posture). We move our eyes towards the sky, stay there for two seconds. Then again, we look towards the earth and after staying there for two seconds; we again look downwards and sty there for two seconds. We repeat the process twice. It makes the one unit of the exercise. Then we close our eyes for two seconds. Then we open the eyes and look in front.

Then we look towards the right and try to see as far as we can. Then we look towards the left side, stay there for two seconds, and try to see as far as possible. Then we look again to the right side. Then go to the left side. Then we look in front again. We then close our eyes. Thus, the unit of the left-right exercise is over. We keep our eyes closed for six to eight seconds.

We can see the mind through eye, where the character, mood, health, and we can emanate the power through this organ. Contact lenses have emerged as a great alternative to spectacles and can drastically reduce all the discomfort that spectacles give you. Typically thinner and more fragile than conventional soft contact lenses, disposable contacts lenses are actually far more comfortable than their conventional cousins. You would not want disposable lenses if you only had one pair of contact lenses and you needed them to last for months, or even a year. A major benefit of buying disposable lenses online is the cost factor. Prices are lower than what you will find in stores and it’s actually quite easy to put on contact lenses.

Lenses that can be worn daily and removed will need a regular and tedious routine of cleaning, sterilizing and in addition, you have to replace the lens regularly. Disposable contact lenses come in single day, weekly, or monthly use. These contact lenses often offer a higher degree of comfort because and there is less of a chance of protein buildup and warping, which can feel scratchy to the eye. The new Bausch and Lomb Soflens daily Disposable contact lens with added Aspheric Optics contact lenses are now have 59% water content. When looking for contact lenses, special effects lenses or colored contacts, be sure to shop online for huge savings when compared to retail prices.
