Natural tips for reduce black mark’s on skin
Posted by admin on October 8th, 2009The black marks on your face are likely to be caused by a condition known as hyper pigmentation. Hyper pigmentation is usually a harmless condition where some parts of the skin reflect a darker pigmentation than the surrounding cells and can have an effect on the aesthetic appeal of an individual. As a result, they have the tendency to cause emotional distress and trauma. Most commonly, hyper pigmentation is caused by sun damage on the skin. A tendency to expose you to the harmful ultra violet rays of the skin, unprotected with sunscreen or any other protective gear could be very dangerous to the skin, even leading to a possibility of skin cancer later on. However, it is imperative that you ask a general health practitioner or a licensed doctor to have a closer look at the skin abnormalities as they could be a symptom of a more serious condition like Addison’s disease or Cushing’s disease. Other causes of dark patches on the skin can include but are not restricted to: hereditary and skin disorders.
There are a few available home remedies to lighten the skin tone and reduce the prominence of the hyper pigmentation. Apply slices of raw potato over the affected areas as the starch content is very helpful in reducing blemishes on the skin. Soak a set of 4 almond seeds through the course of the night and grind it into a fine paste the next morning with the help of some milk. Apply this mixture over the face and neck and leave it overnight. Wash the mixture off with cold water the next morning. Applying the lotion for 15 days, followed by twice a week will provide optimum results. You can also mix a little tomato pulp with a few drops of lime juice, and apply this paste on your face. After 20 minutes, you can wash your face, preferably with plain water, or with a mild soap. Ideally, this should be done twice a day for at least two weeks. Since lime juice is a natural bleaching agent, it has had some success in reducing the pigmentation of one’s skin. Use turmeric powder along with lime juice to help remove the tan. You could also try mixing oatmeal with curd and tomato juice and apply this on the face. Wash it off after leaving it on your face for 20 minutes. Leaving freshly ground mint leaves on your face for about 20 minutes every day for 20 days should help substantially as well.
