Skin Treatment For Teenagers

Facial skin problems are caused by different factors. One of the reasons for teenage skin care problems is a result of a rise in hormone levels and body changes. These changes are reflected on the skin. For some teens, it’s an occasional pimple or blemish. For other teens, if no treatment is carried out, it becomes a chronic condition known as acne. Acne is a common facial skin problem faced by most teenagers. It’s characterized by whiteheads, blackheads and, more frequently, pus-filled pimples. It usually develops in the central area of the cheeks and on the forehead. In most cases, it’s caused by a hormone imbalance. What to do? How do you find the proper treatment? Acne treatment can be carried out with a special laser or abrasive therapies, which are available in dermatologists’ offices. But these two options are very expensive. Some dermatologists offer a quick and easy way of treating acne problems. Run a washcloth under hot water, and soak the pimple until the cloth is cool, then apply topical acne medicine. This procedure should be repeated two to three times a day.

Here’s an essential warning to those who try to cover acne with regular make-up–doing so may seriously damage your skin and stop its healing. Instead, use a compounded tinted drying lotion to hide your skin problems.

You shouldn’t touch pimples since you can cause scars and infection. For warding off bacteria, apply tomato pulp on your face and rinse thoroughly after 10-15 minutes. This procedure should be done once a day. Use an exfoliating cream or lotion to replace dead skin cells with new ones.

These are simple yet very effective procedures to clear up your pimples and acne. So, don’t be lazy–make these facile procedures a small part of your daily routine.

Organic Facial Care

Various environmental conditions affect our skin in different ways, particularly our facial skin. Unlike other parts of the body, the face is usually uncovered. Sunny, cold or windy weather, not to mention pollution, can damage delicate facial skin, and thus we would need proper, soothing treatment. But before you make a decision, consider organic facial care. It may be the best, harmless way to reduce the negative impact on your facial skin. Perhaps you know that fragrance and artificial color-free organic facial care products cost no less. We can still maintain our facial care by avoiding expensive facial care products. Homemade facial exfoliants and hydrating facial masks can easily replace any other facial care product. Use hydrating facial masks when you suffer from skin dehydration. The condition causes thinning of the skin and promotes the development of fine lines and wrinkles. It also causes premature aging, flaking, scaling and itching. A hydrating facial mask is a direct way to restore and maintain normal skin moisture. The mask penetrates the deeper layers of the skin, simultaneously nourishing and rejuvenating them. The mask, using combined gentle and moisturizing agents, also feeds the skin with effective antioxidants–a group of compounds that protect the body from the formation of free-radicals. Those are formed by direct exposure to sunlight and pollution. John Burroughs was quite right when he said “Nature teaches more than she preaches.” Indeed, it’s mother nature herself who takes care of our health. So an egg and honey hydrating facial mask, refreshing tomato mask, cucumber moisture lock facial mask or others with no less useful ingredients will restore pH balance and maintain sufficient moisture of our facial skin.
